Hello everyone, my name is Bishal Gyawali. You may know me as a medical oncologist, but I also like to think of myself as a philosopher. This website is the place for my philosophical thoughts. For my oncology work, refer to my oncology website.
I built this site primarily to post the chapters from my Journey of Success Book. But I have also decided to share other inspirational essays in this website under the Library of Inspiration page, and my spiritual thoughts under the Spiritual Journey page. Check them out. I hope you will find your subscription to this site meaningful. Cheers!

Despite various setbacks I have received in life (believe me, I have had my share although superficially it mayn’t look so) ,… Read more

Introduction to the Book
Written in 2011 and edited in 2015. When I re-read this chapter, I found that there were some exaggerated claims and too many exclamatory marks and unneccessary upper cases for emphasis 🙂 I have tried to soften the language here. Ah, a book on success! I wanted to write this book a long time ago… Read more

Seriously, why even bother? I don’t know the answer for you. I am not going to sell “spirituality” to you. There is no good business case to be made. And honestly, I think you should just go on about your happy life without this spirituality thingy ruining your routine. I am serious. Serious enough that… Read more
