Ongoing Ramblings

This maybe me shouting into the void, but I need to get these musings out.

Someone once asked Papaji, “Whats the difference between you and me? Why do you get to sit on the chair and we sit on the floor?”

Papaji responds, “Those who believe in differences belong on the floor. Those who do not, sit on the chair”.

What are you if all of your memory has vanished? What you think of as you is simply a tangle of memories. When your memory has all vanished (say you had an accident or a stroke or any disease leading to dementia), you still exist, and you still feel “I am” but all the entanglements have been gone. That is the real you. Papaji says, “Forget everything that can be forgotten and know yourself to be that which can never be forgotten. You are Truth and only the Truth is. You are inactivity. Activity is your play in the world. You are this precious moment, presence itself.”

In Zen, they ask “What is your original face before you were born?” You are the consciousness before the beginning. You are the Emptiness of Awareness. You are the screen on which all is projected.

You are the One which is aware of the awareness of objects and ideas. You always are.

Your nature is Sat-chit-ananda (truth/existence, consciousness, bliss).
